Dress

One lady's dress of iridescent tissue silk in shades of orange, peach, and gold. The one-piece dress has an ecru lace yoke and collar, a low V-neck that is edged with orange chiffon, and short sleeves edged with pleated ruffles and white lace. The gathered bodice has a wide, gathered cummerbund that ends in a bow at the back. The long straight skirt has large scallops around the bottom and shows a lace-edged chiffon underskirt. The skirt is drawn up solidly in front to form large puffs at each hip. The sleeves and skirt peplum are edged with pleated ruffles that have fuschia silk floss trim.
