One mahogany hinged writing desk. There is purple velvet lining the inside and it opens up to reveal a large writing board. The two halves of the writing board lift up for stationery storage with compartments for pencils, paper, etc. Three small compartments are at the base and a small rectangular bronze plaque (with no text) is inlaid on the top.
