One portable desk made of birdeye maple used by Emma A. Fox, author of "Parliamentary Usage." The top has an oval inlay comprised of different woods. The lid opens up to reveal compartments for inkwells and pens, as well as a curved tray for pans. The inner writing surface has green felt adhered on it. There are brass hinges and a lock.
