Decoy

One hand carved wooden duck decoy. The decoy is made of a light-colored, fine-grained wood with a moderate level of carving and shaping. It has been finished with red/black/gray/white paint and depicts a duck of the Canvasback species. Its eyes are made of small circular red plastic discs with black centers and a convex outer surface and have been attached on each side of the head. An oak wood "keel" with lead weight is attached to the underside with two wood screws in order to add weight for ballast. Also, a small square lead weight is attached on the right underside with a single screw. One steel screw eye is attached to the front underside.
