Crate

One Twin Pines Dairy milk delivery crate. The crate has wood slats on all four vertical sides and all of the edges are reinforced with strips of galvanized steel that have been riveted in place. All four sides have cutouts for handles near the top edge. The end panels have carved lettering, painted black, that shows "Twin Pines Dairy, Detroit" along with the numbers, "12" and "55." The bottom consists of a galvanized steel grate and the interior has galvanized steel rods which form partitions for twelve milk bottles.
