One Detroit News recipes box. The rectangular box is made of thin steel which has a tan enamel paint finish. The top is hinged at the back and the front has black painted text that reads "Recipes, The Detroit News." A strip of curved steel is mounted inside the box to provide a spring mechanism for holding recipe cards upright.
