Bowl, Cereal
One cereal bowl from the dining room of the bulk carrier, SS GEORGE B. LEONARD, of the Great Lakes Steamship Company. The round bowl is made of heavyweight, white glazed china. It has a thickened top rim and rounded sides that curve to form a short circular base. Narrow red and blue stripes encircle the outside of the bowl just below the thickened rim. At a break in the stripes on one side of the bowl, a blue "GL" company logo is stamped. The underside is stamped with black text that reads "Walker China, Vitrified," and "New Bedford, Ohio, F-53."
