Bowl, Berry
One berry bowl from the passenger steamship, SS Rapids King, of the Richelieu & Ontario Navigation Company. The oval-shaped bowl is made of heavyweight, white glazed china. It has a flat, narrow rim with a thickened edge. A single dark green stripe encircles the outer edge of the bowl and two very narrow dark green stripes encircle the inner edge. Four stylized blue grape clusters are equally-spaced around the rim beneath the two narrow stripes. A dark green emblem is stamped in the center which shows a ship's wheel and anchor along with green text that reads "Richelieu & Ontario Navigation Company." The underside is stamped with black text that reads "Grindley's Vitrified for Hotels & Clubs" and "A. T. Wiley & Co., Montreal."
