Blouse

One lady's lightweight white handkerchief linen blouse. The blouse has a wide irregular collar edged with faggoting, a "V" neck, long sleeves with wide cuffs, and nine flat mother-of-pearl buttons down the center front. Two slots are located near the base of the "V" for a separate self tie. A 0.75-inch wide elastic band is located around the waist which could have been worn for maternity. A printed label on the elastic band reads "Hynand & Jones, Inc., Makers, New York," and "Full Swing, Trademark, Patented Feb. 22nd 1916." A label on the lower front hemline has printed text that reads "The Young-Quinlan Co., Minneapolis."
