One baseball used in a Detroit Tigers game in 1949. The baseball has a white leather covering and red stitching. It has been signed by 23 team members in black ink and includes the following names: Bob Swift, Paul Campbell, George Vico, Lou Kretlow, Dick Wakefield, Don Kolloway, Neil Berry, Art Houtteman, Marv Grissom, Hal Newhouser, Marlin Stuart, Johnny Groth, Dizzy Trout, Virgil Trucks, Johnny Lipon, Pat Mullin, Vic Wertz, Hoot Evers, George Kell, Hank Riebe, Red Rolfe [team manager], Dick Bartell [team coach], and Ted Lyons [team coach].
