One toy bank from Peoples Federal Savings of Detroit. The bank consists of a clear plastic sphere for holding coins along with a silver-colored plastic top that is shaped like an umbrella. The umbrella top has a slot for coins and also a small key which allows the top to be removed for access to the coins. Raised text on the top surface of the umbrella reads "Save For A Rainy Day." The sphere rests on a short circular black plastic base. A metal tag on the base has silver-colored text on a red background that reads "Peoples Federal Savings of Detroit" and "Save At Peoples For That Rainy Day." Small raised text on the underside of the base reads "Mfd. by Banthrico Industries, S. Chicago, U.S.A."
