Wrapper

Paper wrapped from a bar of Clydesdale Soap made by the Schulte Soap Company of 945, 947, and 949 West River Street. The wrapper is printed with two images. The first is captioned, "The Old Way," and shows a woman hunched over a wash tub using a wash board. The image beside it is captioned, "The New Way. That's a Great Thing. Yes Indeed!" and shows a woman standing beside two containers of soapy water atop a stove as another woman looks on. The label is also printed with a brief passage about the product, as well as directions in English and German.
