D.M. Ferry and Company Memorandum of Shipment, dated December 11, 1917, for one box of Standard Garden Seeds sent to J.F. Suttle of Felix, Alabama shipped care of "SO R.R," presumably the Southern Railroad, Birmingham to Selma. The form states that freight charges are prepaid for the Detroit to Birmingham leg of the trip. "The best is always the cheapest--plant Ferry's," is printed at the bottom. The verso contains space for a list of additional shipped item, and has been left blank.
