Water PSA - Meter Reader A Roll: Art w/ Voice

U-Matic tape containing several takes of a voice over and title card for a Detroit Water and Sewerage Department public service announcement urging the public to verify the proper Idenfication of meter readers. The voice-over is performed by Richard Mustafa, the chief of security of the Detroit Water and Sewerage Department, using several scripts of varying lengths. The narration is provided over a white and yellow title card with the text, "Require Proper Identification of Meter Readers, 224-5600, Detroit Water & Sewerage Department" and a Water and Sewerage Department logo. The colors are washed out on the title card during the initial voice over, but after a cut following the final voice-over take, the card appears with better contrast.

The video is on a 3M UCA-20 U-Matic S tape with a 3M spine label affixed to the top with the handwritten title, "Water PSA - Meter Reader A Roll: Art w/ Voice." The tape is housed within a black clamping clamshell case, with "Meter Reader PSA" handwritten on the 3M cover label. A business card for Richard W.H. Mustafa, Chief Administrator of the Detroit Water and Sewerage Department's Security Section, is taped inside the lid of the case.
