U-Matic tape containing a series of six 30-second public service announcements promoting No Crime Day, September 27, 1991.

Each spot features a different celebrity delivering the plea. The first two spots feature the starts of the sitcom The Cosby Show--Bill Cosby and Phylicia Rashad--filmed on the Huxtable family living room set. Isiah Thomas of the Detroit Pistons stars in the third and fourth spots. He is filmed against a black background. Detroit Tigers player Kirk Gibson is shot in uniform and on the field for the fifth spot. The final spot features Earvin "Magic" Johnson of the Los Angeles Lakers in a locker room.

The recording is on a 3M UCA 10 U-Matic tape with a typewritten City of Detroit Department of Public Information Video Production label on its top. The tape is housed within a black plastic latching case with a matching label in its cover. The cover and tape labels read:
