Book originally containing 200 Malt Tax Stamps of the State of Michigan, 12 1/2 cent. No. 339 B. Light brown paper cover, nine blank glassine leaves inside, bound with two metal staples.
The State of Michigan taxed malt extract and syrup during Prohibition and issued tax stamps from 1929 to 1933. They were in use until 1947.
