Receipt for two visits, advice, and medicines, costing $3.50 from Dr. White to Mr. Thomas Simons, handwritten on blue paper, and dated August 5, 1847. A seal is faintly embossed at the upper left, appearing to encircle the letters, "B.S. & C." "87 years old," is handwritten in pencil at the lower right.
