16th Annual Belle Isle Meet

One paper program entitled "16th Annual Belle Isle Meet - Detroit Public Schools and the Metropolitan Area," 48 pages. The meet was sponsored and financed by the Detroit Free Press. The program cover is made of heavy paper and is printed in red and blue ink on white paper. The interior pages are printed in black text on white paper and show listings of the participants (boys and girls) for various events. Pages 24-25 contain a two page spread of a map showing the "Ground Plan of Belle Isle Athletic Field for Sixteenth Annual Field Meet," on which has been written in pencil "Where I Ran" with an arrow pointing at the seniors' 100 yard hurdles track. The back page includes several black and white photos from the 1929 meet.
