Eleanor Clay Ford
(June 6, 1896 - October 19, 1976)
Mrs. Edsel B. Ford was a long-time friend and supporter of the Detroit Symphony Orchestra, an extremely generous benefactor, and a member of our board of directors since 1957. We join all of Detroit in mourning her death. Tonight's concert will being with a section of the Brahms Requiem, played in her memory.
