Magazine-format program published by the Music Hall Center for the 15th Annual Montreux Detroit Jazz Festival, held September 1st through the 5th, 1994 in Hart Plaza. A monochromatic photo of a drummer is printed on the cover in shades of purple. Within are articles about "Dizzy" Gillespie, the Blue Bird Inn, the Greystone International Jazz Museum, an overview of the evolution of jazz in Detroit, the schedule for the festival, profiles of several performers, a list of jazz venues in the area, and a list of recommended Detroit jazz albums available on CD, as well as several advertisements.
