Small green and blue print of an engraving captioned, "Detroit Water front from Windmill Pointe, 1838." The windmill is just right of center on a narrow peninsula. To the right a man pushes off a small boat carrying a woman. On the left another small boat passes, dragging a net. Several large sailing ships and a side wheel steamer are visible in the background. In the distance there are structures on both sides of the river and the eastern tip of Belle Isle between. "L/Views (2)" handwritten on a label affixed to verso.
