Informational poster issued by the Fire Prevention Bureau of the Detroit Fire Department's Board of Fire Commissioners, and designed by the Sprunk Engraving Company bearing the message, "Help! Stop this fire waste. It's your duty. Clean up and banish the fire demon," and a black and white illustration of a woman identified by her headband as Miss Detroit reaching toward the viewer against a background of the city on the left, and a dragon holding a cornucopia from which buildings spill out into flames that rise from a burning money bag on the right. The words, "disorder," "carelessness," "rubbish," "suffering," "destruction," and "death" emerge from the dragon's nostrils, and it brandishes a sword emblazoned with the word "ruin." The sign is mounted on linen.
