The Union Depot, showing two modes of travel, by rail and water. The C.P.R. passenger train is seen pulling into the depot and the luxurious steamer 'Northwest' coming down the canal, to be locked through. The depot is built of brown stone and is equipped with steam heat and thoroughly modern in every respect. It is used jointly by the Canadian Pacific.
