Chrysler Corporation designed and built these three new miniature streamlined engines and donated them to the Detroit News Zoological Park Railroad in memory of the company's founder, Walter P. Chrysler, and of two distinguished Detroit civic leaders, William E. Scripps and Walter O. Briggs. Some 1,000,000 people use this railroad in a year.
