Postcard. Color postcard entitled "Elks' Rest, Woodmere Cemetery, Detroit, Mich." The view shows a statue with a stone base reading, "Elks' Rest" with a bronze elk on top. The back reads, "The Elks' Rest in Woodmere Cemetery, one of the most imposing monuments to be found in that beautiful city of the dead. It was erected by Detroit Lodge of Elks, No. 34, several years ago. They purchased quite a large plot of ground where any deceased member may be buried by request." In the bottom corner is written, "236 B." The right-hand side reads, "Post Card." "Place Stamp Here, Domestic One Cent, Foreign Two Cents." And there are four lines for an address. Date is based on printing process and postage.
