The Detroit News, The Home Newspaper, Presents Detroit Album, From the Issues of The Detroit News Pictorial

Tri-fold pamphlet highlighting three Victorian buildings in Detroit--the Lyman Beecher House, the Parish House of St. Mary's Roman Catholic Church, and the Frank J. Hecker House. Each structure is pictured in a half-tone photo taken by Hal Burgert reprinted from the Detroit News Pictorial of May 10th, September 20th, and November 8th, 1953. The images are accompanied by text by Joy Hakanson, the paper's Art Editor. An exterior panel explains that the Detroit Album was "a cooperative exhibit with the Detroit Historical Museum and The Detroit News." The pamphlet is dated, May 18-October 30, 1954.
