The Sanders Menu, Vol. 3, No. 9
Half-folded Sanders menu dated Friday, May 3, 1946. The exterior is printed with the article, "Detroit--First Class Post Office," about the history of the postal system in Detroit including Lewis Cass's difficulties with the service, the locations of post offices, mail boats, the first parcel post service, the beginnings of air mail. Breakfast, luncheon, supper, and dessert items are listed within. A card stapled near the upper right corner of the interior lists, "Chicken Pie in Casserole, Roll 45¢."
