The Sanders Menu, Vol. 3, No. 6

Half-folded Sanders menu dated Tuesday, February 19, 1946. The exterior is printed with the article, "Detroit and the Iron Horse," about the development of railroad lines and railroad stations in the area, including protests against the Detroit and Pontiac Railroad's line along Gratiot Avenue, the Brush Street Terminal, the 1838 Michigan Central Railroad Terminal, the Union Terminal, a series of fires that struck Michigan Central, the Union Terminal, the Michigan Central Railroad Tunnel, and the 1914 Michigan Central Railroad Terminal. Breakfast, luncheon, supper, and dessert items are listed within. A card stapled near the upper right corner of the interior lists, "Pork and Mushroom Pie in Casserole, Roll 45¢."
