Letter

One letter, dated January 19, 1927, from O. [Oliver] E. Dunbar of the Dunbar & Sullivan Dredging Co. of Detroit to H. [Harris] T. Dunbar of Glendora, California. The letter is typewritten in black ink on white paper that shows the company letterhead at the top and is watermarked "Strathmore, Alexis Bond, Made in U.S.A." The writer requests that the H. T. Dunbar turn in his present loan notes and accept new five-year notes which will help the company obtain better terms for a line of credit at the bank. The request was acknowledged by the recipient in a short handwritten note in black ink near the lower right corner of the page.
