Silent color 16mm film containing footage shot for "Detroit Means Business," of houses along Iroquois Street in Indian Village, the Lafayette Park Art Fair, downtown at night, the Festival of India in Hart Plaza, and Greektown.

After view shots of grass and a dashboard, the reel begins with several takes of the camera being driven northwest past houses along the northeast side of Iroquois Street in Indian Village.

The camera then moves to the Lafayette Park Art Fair for a series of shots of people and booths.

Next, the camera films the neon signs for La Marmite and Rembrandt's. The camera then pans from the illuminated sign on the top of the Manufacturers Bank building at night, down to the street, then up to the illuminated City National Bank sign and antenna on top of the Penobscot building.

Afterward the filming resumes in Hart Plaza during the Festival of India. Dancers perform in the amphitheater. The camera also gets a series of shots of people seated in the amphitheater with the Renaissance Center in the background, then of a group of people posing for a photo in front of Dodge Fountain. A low angle shot of the Dodge Fountain and the Renaissance Center follows. The camera then returns to the amphitheater where more dancers perform.

The next scenes take place in Greektown. The camera pans around Monroe Street, southwest from St. Antoine Street. Hellas, the Old Parthenon, and the Laikon Cafe are in view. The camera then gets close-ups of the signs and storefronts of the Old Parthenon, Hellas, and the crowd outside of Hellas. Then from a moving car, the camera pans along storefronts on the north side of Monroe, including the Astoria Pastry Shop, the International Restaurant, Laikon Cafe, the Monroe Grocery and Bakery, the Old Parthenon, and Hellas. A stationary shot of the Old Parthenon and Hellas follow. Then the camera pans from the neon "Opa!" sign in the window of Hellas, up to its main sign.
