Office Personnel 2

Silent 16mm film shot mostly in black and white and partially in color containing an assortment of shots relating to the City of Detroit Department of Building and Safety Engineering Bureau of Plumbing film "A Visit to Detroit's Bureau of Plumbing Inspection" (2015.007.065).

Following a very brief shot of the plumbing lab, the film begins with shots of the office door of Supervising Engineers O.K. Klafter and Lyle M. Reading. Next magnetic title cards are shown with the text, "3" Tapped Tee-Whye For bath Room Group," "Building Sewer," "Building Sewer to Main Drain," and "Crock to Iron Joint." A man is then filmed looking at a partially buried pipe, then workers are shown going through forms in an office. The remainder of the film consists of shots of the "Rough Plumbing" title card sandwiched around color footage from the plumbing lab, then the "Office Procedure" and "Final" title cards.

The film is on a small metal reel labeled "Office Personnel 2." The reel is housed, along with reels 2015.007.064 and 2015.007.065, within a latching metal mailing container. Several mailing labels are on the case, but the only legible one is from Dearborn Public Schools, and lists the City of Detroit Department of Buildings and Safety Engineering, in the 4th Floor of the City-County Building as the recipient.
