Silent 16mm color work print from the Sue Marx production, "This Is My Home, This Is Detroit," The footage is comprised of a variety of shots, often quickly cutting back of forth between subjects. Aerial footage and exterior establishing shots are also included among this batch, such as the Coleman A. Young Recreation Center, aerial views of Lafayette Park and Cobo Hall, Chene Park, neighborhood signs, the Renaissance Center, stills of old photographs, and the outside of Yalooo Imported Foods, an Armenian grocery store at 800 West Seven Mile Road.

The film also includes the McDonalds reclining on the lawn of the Cityside Townhomes Apartments; Gertrude Powe of 1656 Pingree Street; Bronson Gentry directing a group of children who are clearing weeds in front of an abandoned house on the west corner of Kitchener Street and Essex Avenue; Charlie H. Smith, Jr. driving, outside his Oakman Boulevard home, and at the Detroit Edison and GranDetroit's 1985 Bright and Beautiful block club awards; Mayor Coleman A. Young in the Manoogian Mansion; a group of kids, including Alford "Chicago Pete" Harrell's children performing "Detroit, My Home;" the Rich family on the porch of their home at 14802 Faust Avenue; Bill and Carol Harris of New Center Commons cooking and playing Trivial Pursuit; Preston Burke and Anne Wilkinson-Burke of the Riverfront Apartments at home and biking in Greektown; community volunteer Susan Hatfield and officer Tom Benson at the Detroit Police Department's mini station 16 M 3 in northwest Detroit; Michael Farrell in the Art House in Brush Park; the Michigan Avenue Free Concert; workers constructing a porch; musicians Larry Lamb and Herbie Williams performing at the Clement Kern Gardens construction site in Corktown; volleyball players on a neighborhood street; a North Rosedale Park children's soccer game; Chicago Pete fishing at Chene Park; the Blue Pigs performing at the Bright and Beautiful awards.
