One contract booklet entitled "Contract No. RC-9, Contract Documents for Intake Lagoon, 1929." The contract was prepared by the City of Detroit Department of Water Supply and was awarded to the Dunbar & Sullivan Dredging Company on October 10, 1929. The softcover booklet has a light blue cover with black title text and contains 54 pages of printed text including general conditions and specifications, agreement, contract quantities, and bond forms. Portions of the agreement and bond forms have been completed in handwritten black ink and have also been signed and sealed by company officers. A separate section at the back contains 7 pages of contract drawings which show the proposed water intake lagoon that was to be constructed at the northeast end of Belle Isle.
