A lithograph attributed to Gies and Company of Buffalo, New York depicts the Garland logo alongside an image snowy scene of a house and a river, beside another image of tree branches. Accompanying text guarantees the quality of Garland stoves and ranges. An advertisement on the verso for the "Art Garland, 1886" model from the Michigan Stove Company, stresses the pioneering nature of its revolving fire-pot and fine ornamentation in the form of art tile work from J.G. and J.F.
