One advertising card from the Detroit & Cleveland Navigation Company. The card is printed on heavy white paper and shows a multicolor drawing of a frog and a gnome who are dancing around a wind vane that is located at the lakeshore. A D&C passenger steamship can be seen underway in the distance on the lake. Printed text on the lower right side of the card shows "To Ticket Agents and Connecting Lines: Navigation Opens March 21st between Detroit and Cleveland. Daily overnight service thereafter until December 1st. Steamers leave both ports daily at 11:30 P.M. Kindly resume the sale of tickets." A small inset map shows connections between Detroit, Chicago, Buffalo, and Cleveland. The "D&C Lake Lines" logo is shown at the upper right corner of the card. The name of the printer, "Van Leyen - Hensler Co.," is shown at the lower right corner.
