Half folded, then double gate folded brochure for the 2004 Detroit Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation, Race for the Cure held on Saturday, June 5, 2004. The brochure details the organization and event, provides forms for registration and raising donations from sponsors, and lists the major sponsors, including Ford Motor Company, K-Mart, Compuware, and the Karmanos Cancer Institute. The event consists of a 5K run, a 5K walk, and one mile walk, and an included map shows the routes of each. The run is north along Woodward from Sibley Street to Hancock Street, east along Hancock to John R Street, south on John R to Forest, west on Forest back to Woodward, south along Woodward to Montcalm Street, east on Montcalm to Brush Street, south on Brush to Adams Street, and ending alongside of Comerica Park. The 5K walk follows a similar route, although it begins at the I-75 Service Drive on Woodward, and ends at Woodward and Montcalm. The one mile walk is simply back and forth along Woodward Avenue between Montcalm and Mack Avenue.
