The Somerset Apartments
One booklet which advertises "The Somerset Apartments" building that was to be located at the corner of Woodward and Hendrie Avenues just north of the Midtown area of Detroit. The softcover booklet has a heavyweight purple paper cover with gray title text on the front along with an emblem and a small drawing of the front of the 6-story, English manor style apartment building. It has a white cord binding on the left edge and contains 18 pages of black printed text on white paper which show floorplans and give brief discussions of building features and amenities. The first page shows a black and white front corner drawing of the building that was designed by "George D. Mason & Walter S. Painter, Architects." Printed text on the last page indicates that "It is expected by the management that occupancy may be had not later than July, 1905." Small black printed text on the back cover reads "The Richmond & Backus Co., Detroit."
