Soldier's Individual Pay Record Book
One "Soldier's Individual Pay Record Book" issued to Ralph F. Alfes by the Office of the Chief Quartermaster of the American Expeditionary Forces. The pocket-size booklet has a black cloth cover and contains 11 pages of black printed text on white paper. The first 8 pages include blank lines that were to be filled in by the soldier or by the quartermaster making payment. The booklet was issued on October 1, 1918, and includes handwritten payment entries from October 1918, through June, 1919.
