Burton, about the history of the lot upon which the Garrick Theatre was built on Griswold Street spanning from the 1805 fire to the plans for a Cunningham's drug store in 1929, including information about the Hyde House and Oliver M. Hyde, Whitney's Opera House, and surrounding businesses. Several photos and illustrations of the buildings, and associated people are included. The booklet is bound in a tan paper cover with a small illustration of a stylized angel holding a scrollwork pattern on the cover.
