Detroit Police Department

One softcover booklet entitled "Detroit Police Department." The booklet has a white cover with black title text as well as a black and white photographic image of a police officer who is talking on his police car radio. The 16-page booklet is intended for police officer recruitment and gives prospective candidates a brief history of the department along with general information about various operations and activities. Black and white photographic images are included with the text. The names of department heads are listed on the inside back cover. The Police Commissioner was Ray Girardin and the Mayor was Jerome P. Cavanagh.
