Booklet bound in a white cardstock cover with "The Fine Arts Society of Detroit, Founded January 25th, 1906," written in a blackletter typeface. The book's 52 pages contain lists of the society's officers from 1906 to 1935, a list of charter members, the 1935 roster, the articles of association, and the by-laws. A note in pencil on the cover refers to page 39, where another handwritten note is concerning the membership of Mr. and Mrs. C.A. Newcomb Jr., "Active in the early years--resigned & then at the instigation of Miss. H.B. Jay, Mr. again joined for 2 yrs--then resigned."
