One blueprint drawing (and one copy) entitled "D&C Navigation Co., Emergency & Exit Lighting" for the Steamers Western States and Eastern States. The drawing shows general plan views of the Orlop, Main, B, C, and Upper Decks of the passenger steamships. A summary table lists the types and locations of various emergency lights. A symbol legend, design notes, and circuit diagrams are also shown. The title block in the lower right corner of the sheet shows that the plan was prepared by Giffels & Vallet, Inc., L. Rossetti, Associated Engineers & Architects, Detroit 26. Mich." and is dated "2-16-49." The drawing number is shown as "EL-2."
