Packard Motor Car Co. advertisement. Printed in black ink on white paper. The advertisement shows a left side view of a Packard automobile with an image above showing Archimedes demonstrating a spiral instrument while two Greek soldiers look on. A caption reads "The Greek mathematician and inventor, Archimedes, discovered and used many of the principles of mechanical engineering two hundred fifty years B.C." The text of the advertisement describes Packard engineering, particularly its development of spiral bevel gears "based on the principle of Archimedes' screw." The advertisement is dated "1927" in blue ink at bottom right.

The opposite side of the page features an advertisement for Bell & Howell motion picture cameras and projectors.
