A staff member from the office of Councilwoman Gabriela Santiago-Romero will open the program by reading this year’s Hispanic Heritage Awareness Month Resolution. This will be followed by an informational talk and conversation with a third-generation Detroiter from Mexicantown. A student band will also perform as part of the educational programming.
