Announcing the First-Ever Detroit Historical Society Youth Advisory Council

After the success of our first Detroit Design 2067 Youth Immersion Program in Spring 2018 and Detroit 67 Youth Summit in Fall 2018, the Detroit Historical Society is recruiting high school students aged 14-18 to serve on its first-ever Youth Advisory Council. As a leadership group of the Society, the Youth Advisory Council will meet regularly throughout the year to learn the significance of Detroit’s history and how it relates to present day, develop important leadership skills, and weigh in on and develop public programming offered by the Detroit Historical Museum. Youth Advisory Council Members will receive an honorarium for their active participation.

Learn more and apply! Applications will be due by 3 p.m. on Friday, October 26, 2018.
